I hope you are all doing well. As a company, we have remained virus-free which is a blessing.

As you know, we have respected the stay-at-home orders and with the exception of a few emergency calls, have not been working in the field. As of yesterday, the Governor has allowed “construction” to continue. I put “construction” in parenthesis because there is still some confusion around who can and cannot work. While the debate will continue, to us the bottom line remains the same — either we, the collective community, continue to bring the number of virus incidents down or nobody but emergency workers will be able to work in the future.

We have been biting our tongue when we see our peers out working over the last month. We know there are a lot of circumstances they may need to work but by them being out has delayed our ability to go out. With that said, we will take our return to work seriously and will practice to the best of our abilities the 30-step plan presented by the Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW) to Jay Inslee and approved by him. If interested, the 30-step plan can be viewed here: BIAW 30-Step Plan.

We are still working our our schedules and will try to give you as much head-up as possible once your project is scheduled.

I would also like to express my deep appreciation for all the words of support and understanding during this time. While it has been tough on me and Earthdance Organics, it has been particularly tough on the guys that come to deliver our services to your home. I have relayed your support to them and they too are very appreciative.

As a community we will get through this and we look forward to seeing you soon (from 6 feet away, of course 🙂 )

Best regards,

Bill Peregrine
